What We Do
Our clinic is for people who have tried physical therapy before without seeing results, those who want to be listened to and heard by their providers, and to actually have their therapist’s attention. It’s for anyone who is looking for long-term solutions that fit their active lifestyle. We, too, are frustrated with the healthcare system. We set the bar high for care quality and we can assure you that this will not be your average physical therapy clinic and healthcare experience.
Don't just take our word for it
Stephen has been great during the physical therapy my 10-year-old is receiving. He is knowledgeable, friendly, and he exercises patience. He is always sure to update me on her progress and ensure she and I both know what needs to be done outside of scheduled PT time. He is gentle but a good motivator, and he is very flexible and accommodating with our schedules. My daughter feels very comfortable with him, and he is sure to keep me updated in her treatment plan. I trust his knowledge and abilities, and so does Reese! He's been crucial in discovering and isolating the problem area with her gait. We are still in therapy to correct the issue, but she is getting stronger by working with Stephen.

I recently began experiencing a shoulder pain that I have never felt before. I did not remember doing anything specific to cause injury, but the pain was almost unbearable. The pain was much worse at night, which meant that I could not sleep. I contacted a physical therapist at Peak Performance Physical Therapy and Stephen responded quickly. He was able to get me on his schedule for evaluation and treatment. I had improvement after the first visit and was able to sleep for the first time in several days. Stephen was informative in the type of injury I had, what most likely caused it, how he planned to treat it and day to day restrictions to allow healing. I am happy with my entire experience and my results!

My journey in PT began last December with a knee replacement, but quickly escalated into disaster as I was diagnosed with Covid after being released from the hospital. From the beginning the cards were stacked against me as I had a huge fracture blister, and an infection in the wound. I couldn't start PT right away and was behind from the beginning. My original therapist went out of business, and I had to scramble to find someone else. Then, after being comfortable with another therapist, they were gone also. In comes Stephen and everything looked up! Stephen is encouraging and thorough, he listens and asks questions to make sure he understands what is going on.
I have progressed nicely in the last couple of months, finally being able to straighten my leg (after being told by a PA it would not happen if it wasn't straight at 7-8 weeks post surgery) and the range of motion is coming back slowly but surely! Stephen obviously knows what he is doing and I have recommended him many times to friends and family. I finally feel "normal" after many months of being discouraged and feeling I would never be able to do the things I enjoyed before surgery. I am grateful for the time and patience Stephen has invested in my recovery!

I came to Stephen with pain caused by a tennis injury. He made me feel safe and comfortable, and even addressed an issue that I had forgotten about; a pain that had become so common I thought it was normal to “live with it.” Through the process, he checked in on me to see what triggered the pain. It is evident he really cares about his patients. He is incredibly knowledgeable and even educated me throughout the process. I recommend Stephen to anyone who will listen!

Stephen was great! I injured my thumb playing pickup basketball. My job requires me to work with my hands daily. Stephen helped me identify the problem with my thumb and gave me a plan to strengthen muscles in my hand to help compensate for my injury. I haven't had any issues with rehabbing my thumb. Stephen was very knowledgable and confident in helping me recover from my injury. I'd recommend him to anyone in need of a physical therapist.

I’ve done physical therapy with Stephen for both neck and back pain issues I’ve had throughout much of my life, and he’s been so helpful in getting me out of pain, and doing movements and exercises I had been limiting before. He’s very knowledgeable and it’s clear that he genuinely cares about helping his patients.

Stephen is incredibly knowledgeable and professional. His friendly demeanor makes PT appointments a joy. And his results are incredible! He helped me rehab a 20+ year old ankle injury that just gradually worsened until I couldn’t ignore the daily pain anymore. The pain went away after 1 session, and after just a handful of sessions, my whole lower leg felt better than I ever thought possible again. I am amazed and so grateful.

Costs
Physical Therapy is a covered benefit of most major insurance carriers.
Arkansas Pelvic Health/Peak Performance Physical Therapy is currently in network with Aetna, Ambetter, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Medicare, and Qualchoice. We are continually adding new insurance companies and are happy to work with you to verify your insurance benefits. We are purposefully not in network with a few major insurance carriers because of their limitations on therapy. We do have a self pay option and can provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance provider for out of network benefits.
